Viv has been photographing portraits of people of all ages since 2005. He setup Holst Photography in 2010 after leaving one of Ireland’s largest Portraiture studios as a means to broaden his photography skills. These days he moves between the studio environment and location based portraiture.
The studio is based in Citywest, Dublin and caters to visitors from Dublin, Kildare, Louth, Wicklow and Meath.

Studio Portraits
The studio’s location is in Citywest, Dublin. It caters to a variety of portrait sessions ranging from maternity/newborn sessions and family portraits to modelling/head shots. Photo sessions are fun, relaxed yet professional.
Outside the studio, lifestyle photo shoots can be booked to create beautiful, natural portraits in an indoor or outdoor setting of your choice.
Special events like graduation or communions can also be booked for call out in Dublin and neighboring counties.
Location & Lifestyle Portraits
Not all portraits need to be taken in a studio to have them turn out great. Using a portable lighting setup, great portraits can be captured anywhere. Over the 15+ years Viv has experienced photographing in various locations and calling out to clients across Co. Dublin and surrounding areas.
This setup is ideal for clients wanting to be photographed in their own setting, be it for comfort or blend in with the environment.
