Maternity & Newborn
How special are those moments the first time you are expecting a baby?
When we were expecting, keeping a photo journal of the pregnancy was really important to us.
Being able to reflect back in years to come. We look back at those photos and realize just how special this time was.
A good record for us was our unique maternity photos.
Preparing for your maternity photos session
- To ensure a variety during your Photo session, bring along a change of clothing. Try compliment your partner’s clothing with yours to give best results for the portraits.
- Any items purchased for baby, ie booties, toys, trinkets help add a personal touch to the photos.
- If you have any ideas you would like to try out, bring samples along & I’ll do my best to oblige.
- Make sure garments are ironed, as creases can be distracting in photographs.
Maternity Photo Session
Sessions are best in the 3rd trimester, between weeks 30-35.
This gives a nice round bump for best results.
Maternity Sessions are relaxed and taken at your pace.
Only poses that are comfortable are used to make the experience as enjoyable as possible.
Newborn Photo Session
Sessions are best within the first 2 weeks after baby’s birth, this allows for them to be the most sleepy, and usually sessions are esier before they start becoming too aware of their surroundings.
