Margaret and Martin booked our Video & photo combo, a package that Paul from Crystal Clear video and myself set up.
We drove up on the morning of the wedding together, it’s always good fun to work with a videographer I know as well as Paul, it helped make the long drive go by quickly.
We arrived at Markree castle through the front gate to the vast open grounds that lead up to the estate and scouted out a few nice spots to do photos. Although it was a little chilly still in March, we could not pass on the opportunity to get some nice photos outside, it was dry although a little windy.
The lads were getting ready when we arrived, so promptly got a few photos of them readying themselves with spirits nice and high.
After we headed over to the bride, Margaret’s room to capture the preparations of the girls.
With a little more nervous energy in the bride’s room, we kept things simple and took on a more photo journalistic style of shooting to get those lovely spontaneous images.
The ceremony took place in the chapel on the castle grounds, which really jumped you back in time. The interiors were wooded and very intimate, making for some lovely photos of the couple with their guests.
We headed out to the grounds for the main photo shoot. The couple were so at ease at this stage they didn’t even notice the chilly air. Moving inside to mingle with guests again, we got some detail and fly on the wall photos of everyone.
