Amber Springs Hotel Wedding

Today, I had the pleasure of photographing a wedding at the picturesque Amber Springs Hotel  This hotel is located in the charming town of Gorey, in Wexford, Ireland. The wedding festivities were held at the Amber Springs Hotel. A delightful civil ceremony, followed by a sumptuous dinner and dancing, was planned.

Preparations for the day began as I met Paul from Crystal Clear Video Productions at Sinead’s bridal suite. The air was filled with excitement. The girls had already begun their makeup and hair routines. We captured still photographs and video footage of the exquisite details, such as the flowers, shoes, and the stunning bridal gown. This ensured that these precious memories were beautifully documented before Sinead and her bridal party got dressed. Laughter filled the room, and nerves were scarce as the atmosphere remained light-hearted and joyful.

Before the ceremony, I snapped a few candid shots of the girls, capturing their genuine camaraderie and excitement. Afterwards, I went to the ceremony room to catch up with Alan, the groom, and his groomsmen. It was a pleasure to photograph the lads engaging in banter and sharing heartfelt moments before the ceremony commenced.

The ceremony itself was brief but meaningful, with heartfelt words and lighthearted laughter shared by friends and the registrar. These moments made for truly remarkable photographs that will bring back fond memories in the years to come. After the ceremony, we attended the drinks reception. Guests mingled and enjoyed delightful treats, accompanied by the charming melodies of a talented trio of ukulele players. Meanwhile, I captured group photos and intimate shots of the couple, ensuring their love and joy were beautifully preserved.

As the day progressed, Paul and I swiftly compiled a video and photo slideshow, capturing the highlights of the day. This was to be shown to the guests immediately after the speeches. This heartfelt montage never fails to delight and touch the hearts of the attendees. It allows them to reminisce about the special moments shared throughout the day.

As the night unfolded, the dancing commenced, and the energy soared. I captured the spirited atmosphere during the first four dances before bidding farewell to the festivities and heading back to Dublin. It was a day filled with love, laughter, and joyful celebration. I am grateful to have been a part of such a memorable occasion.
